waiyan is still a follower of Christ too
currently, in her final year of form 6 and studying hard for her trials which are coming up real soon.
she isn't as busy with other stuff as before, as she has let go and stepped back from certain things to concentrate on her STPM (who is her current boyfriend nolahh, he's not).
she can't wait till after STPM when she get a whole half year of holidays! mm-mm

the week was packed with the inter-house games.
i played netball and got a whole lot of sunshine on my skin and am about a shade darker now.

the finals are next week. but i'm already pretty thankful for where we've gotten to already.

it's surprising that i didn't pass out in any of the games. with my lousy stamina and aging body (i make myself sound like i'm a thousand years old ) and my lazy bum, i thank God i didn't faint during the games.

and on one super super hot hot friday, i got to play with the old team, the old team as in the ones i use to play with in form 3/form4. it wasn't a full team though. but it was fun. i got to play my old position, which requires less running which is good for me considering the old age, bad stamina and laziness.

it's been a good week, cause it was filled with stuff i like doing.
but what happens when my weeks are filled with stuff i don't like doing reality check.

sometimes, i feel like life is just clouded with lots of dark stormy clouds. and everything's shadowy and dark (such as when i'm having exams, which leads to worries, where hopelessness comes to play, uncertainty rubs it in, and it leads up to disappointments...).

heh, a little over dramatic there.

but it's true. you know, how when sometimes you just have no idea what to do, and you know that you are so so so dead.

*sigh*

i feel like that, currently.

it's mid-term exams now. i don't think i did too well for the past papers. and the future seems very bleak.

BUT!
i will not give up!
i may mess up the papers still, but i will try to do what i can.
and pray i don't slip into my non-studying mode until STPM is over and done with!

hopefully, i'll still be alive till then.

and truly, the shadow proves the sunshine.
i know that God is there for me and that He will be the light to my path and lamp to my feet. He will be my source and strength. because He is Almighty and He is Great! i know that in my darkest moments, God will bring me through, He will rescue me. and at that point, i will know that it wasn't me who saved myself nor anyone else, but God and God alone.

to come to my rescue

Paroimia -The Tale of Colours

Ooooooh look! I can blog!!! Xanga is being nice to me again! Yay!!!

So, as my first post in a looooooooooong time, I shall promote my latest church play!

The very exciting and amazingly-scripted play called PAROIMIA- The Tale of Colours.

Once upon a time, a prince was born in the Golden City.
His name was Prince Elyon. That same day, the commander of the Golden Army, Kieron, led a rebellion against the King and stole away the citizens.

It had been long foretold that a day like that would come, when a savior would be needed. He would have to die in exchange for the citizens' freedom. His blood for theirs.

Prince Elyon was to be that savior.

Will he be able to wipe the darkness of Kieron out? Will the people ever be free from the clutches of Kieron?

Come and watch Paroimia.
Let the colors whisk you away to the land where the Golden Command upholds justice...
the Dark Legion threatens peace & harmony.
Is there hope for the imprisoned Grey Doldrums?
